I did it... OK. The trainer did it... BUT! Now, I know how to do it, and I can maintain it!
Yes. Her mane has been trimmed/pulled.
As a result, I braided my first ever real button-type braids!
With rubberbands, because I didn't have yarn.
BUT! I got major compliments for my braid job!
That neck completely alleviates any anxiety I had about hacking off her mane!!

ReplyDeleteI've always been french braiding manes and tails for the Arabian shows. I was worried about this commitment to button braids. I knew her neck would look better. Considering the results of my first full braid job, I'm feeling much better about my ability to do respectable braids!!
